What Color is Your Exit Plan?
Why Owners Over Age 55 Need an Exit Plan, and How to Develop One
A SESSION FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVISORS (XPX MEMBERS and NON-MEMBERS,)
& BUSINESS OWNERS
Most people think of an exit plan -- if they think of one at all -- as only being necessary when the day comes to sell a business or transfer it to family members. But that is not the case. Exit planning is about an important process, and state of mind. It is designed to assure owners create maximum value in their businesses, are successful in selling, and have happiness and success after the sale or transition.
Our speaker and panel of experts –including those who have sold businesses -- will de-mystify exit planning, with the goal of helping owners and advisors alike understand why it is important, what it consists of, the role and importance of advisors, and how to go about conducting exit planning.
This session is an excellent opportunity for professional advisors to demonstrate value by inviting clients or prospective client business-owners to attend.
