Join us on March 7th as we continue our discussion of the buy side of business transactions. We are excited to have a full panel discussion of some best practices used in successful insider sales. Joining our panel will be the Buyer, the Leadership Consultant, The Exit Planner and the Attorney, each discussing their role in the transition of Evans, Inc.

    Speakers:

Sarah Cato, First Financial Group, Director of Business Strategies

Having developed and/or served as the CEO of 4 mid-market companies prior to becoming a Financial Advisor over 14 years ago, I believe that only by understanding and integrating one’s financial strategies from a 360 degree perspective, can the best possible outcome be achieved. Because their most important asset is usually their business, this holistic view is particularly important in helping my business owner clients achieve optimal financial security. Protecting and enhancing equity and turning it into cash at the right time can often mean the difference between a secure financial future and a future filled with worry. My responsibility is to help my clients ensure their maximum wealth potential through strategic design, not just product selection. My 360 degree process examines each aspect of a client’s financial picture inclusive of their business, integrating each area into a well-coordinated strategy, unique to achieving their goals and values. Working with my clients and their professional advisors, I help them reduce costs, design tax strategies, reduce financial plan risks, and help bring financial balance, now and in the future.

    Specialties:

Business Exit Planning, wealth protection, wealth accumulation, retirement income planning, business succession design/execution, executive and key person benefits design/implementation, business risk management.

    Bob Etris, Evans Incorporated. Director

Bob Etris joined Evans Incorporated in 2003 and has played a leading role in the success and growth of the company. As of March 2019, as co-owner of Evans, he now adds the role of Managing Partner to his list of titles.

As the Director of one of our largest accounts with the FAA, Bob is charged with management and oversight of project and program operations, client engagement and financial and operational account portfolio oversight. Outside his role with the FAA, Bob contributes to Evans’ strategic planning, marketing and business development functions.

Bob holds a BS in Systems and Information Engineering from the University of Virginia. Bob has always been interested in human interaction in work environment which is why, during his studies, he elected to focus more on business systems than technology systems. He has over 15 years of experience in program management, business process improvement, organization development, and change management.

    John Hrastar,  InterSource , CEO

John Hrastar has more than twenty five years of experience as a CEO, interim CEO, and CEO Advisor. He founded InterSource, a CEO Advisory firm, in 1990. The primary focus of the firm is the transitional stages of growth at the critical junctures in a company’s lifecycle. Having been both an owner and a CEO he has a unique perspective on the effect of the personal ownership concerns that drive business management issues. He is now an advisor to leaders of private companies, family businesses, and non-profit organizations. Mr. Hrastar works with leaders to realize and enhance their performativity as they create and execute their strategic plans. He is a founding partner of the Greater Washington DC Family Business Alliance, and a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, NeuroLeadership Institute, Society of International Business Fellows, Exit Planning Exchange, Omicron Delta Kappa (National Leadership Honor Society), and Mensa.

Jim Peppe, West & Feinberg, P.C., Attorney at Law

Jim Peppe concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate law, commercial transactions, and estate planning and administration.
