Summit Highlights

The 2019 Summit was a huge success with sold out attendance, an incredible keynote speaker, Cathy Carroll, PCC, Founder, Legacy Onward, Inc. and three dynamic panels.

Topics throughout the afternoon focused on all aspects of preparing and planning for an eventual exit including:

  • Solving the Unsolvable Challenges Inherent in a Family Business
  • Preparing for Your Liquidity Event
  • Preparing Your Company for Acquisition
  • Tales from the Trenches: Former Owners Describe their Exit Experience

Top professionals in Estate, Tax, Financial and Strategic planning are joining for one afternoon to share their expertise with business owners. Starting with a high-level look at the multiple issues of transferring a business in the next ten years, the XPX Summit will include discussions about how to properly value a business, and the impact of changing tax law on both pre-sale preparation and post-sale proceeds.

A panel of owners who successfully sold their businesses will share the good, the bad and the ugly of the process and the aftermath, followed by a cocktail reception for all attendees.

Who should attend: Business owners over 50 years old, or who plan to sell in the next decade, and their advisors.
